Shannon Henry is a practitioner in the field of industrial ecology, pioneering the development of next-generation textile materials. She uses an industrial symbiosis approach to contribute to the decarbonization of global value chains through the development of next-gen biomaterials. Shannon works particularly on SIDS in the CARICOM region to investigate how we can leverage agro-residues and indigenous knowledge to decarbonize global value chains. She is currently seeking a PhD position in the field of industrial ecology and the circular economy.
