Dr. Skoulikidis is the Head of the Department of Inland Waters, Institute of Marine Biological Resources & Inland Waters, Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR). His research interests include ecological status assessments of aquatic ecosystems, land-water–atmosphere interactions, biogeochemical processes, functional ecosystem approaches, ecosystem conservation, and integrated river basin management in several Greek islands.
