How were these GPS points obtained?
By downloading the list with licensed petroleum storage facilities from NERSA. The facilities in Cape Town were identified, and their coordinates looked up by entering the address in Google Maps.
Are there any known data gaps?
These are the facilities that have an active license for petroleum storage. Licenses currently under review are not included. This list can change over time and it is recommended to review once per year. This list was updated in March 2018.
