Metabolism of Cities is a community-run platform. The organisation consists of members who, sharing the same values and mission, come together to collect information, record videos, write papers, build tools, and do many other activities to further the use of urban metabolism. Most of the work is done remotely, with all members working from their own place of residence. Metabolism of Cities members volunteer their time and generally work or study in fields related to urban metabolism, material flows, and/or sustainability.
